Highland Community College Student Government Association will host a community-wide blood drive at the Walter’s Wellness Center on the Highland Campus from noon to 5 p.m. on Dec. 3.

“The Community Blood Center must collect almost 600 units of blood daily to meet the needs of area hospitals,” said Kaylee Mullens, HCC Student Government Association president. “They rely on volunteer donors to supply the life-saving blood and blood components to hospitals in Kansas and Missouri.”

To make an appointment, visit www.esavealifenow.org/PublicScheduler, and enter highlandcc as your location. Appointments are encouraged. Participants may call Taylor Allen, Director of Student Life at (785) 442-6071 with questions.
