The Zion Lutheran Church Choir will be presenting the cantata “HALLELUJAH! What a Savior” on Palm Sunday morning, April 14, at 10 o’clock at the church, four miles north of Everest.

Members of the choir include: Janet Olson, Julie Jamvold, Teresa Aley, Debbie Hansen, Debbie Selland, Beth Thurn, Sue Beyer, Marcia Knudson, Grete Olsen, Madison Stirton, Clarissa Jamvold, Chris Stirton, Gail Streeter, Homer Pederson, Matthew Knudson, Warren Herrs, Jeremy Olson, Dave Olson, Mark Knudson, Spencer Madison, Leland Hansen, Owen Jacobsen and Tatum Lockwood. The choir is directed by Beth Thurn. Janet Olson is pianist and Sue Beyer is organist. Pastor for the church is the Rev. Alan Aley.

The cantata begins with the triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday through the Last Supper, Crucifixion, and triumphant joy of Christ’s resurrection on Easter morning. The public is invited to hear the wonderful music telling the story of events during Holy Week.
