The regular monthly meeting of the Zion Lutheran LWML was at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12. Lela Middendorf, called the meeting to order with four members present.

Diane Davis led opening devotions entitled “What God Sees,” and Lela led the Bible Study entitled “A New Spring Wardrobe” which described the spiritual clothing we need to dress in. The minutes of the February meeting were read and approved, and the treasurer’s report was given by Diane Davis. A letter of resignation was received from Carol Walter.

Diane Davis will lead the Bible Study at the April 9 meeting. Greeters for April will be Bob and Virginia Freese on April 7 and 14th and Scott and Jessica Gigstad on April 21 and 28th. Chancel workers for April will include Barb Shefferd, Kelly Meyer, Sara Bauer and Lela Middendorf.

It was noted that 11 ladies were in attendance for the LWML Prayer Service held on March 10. Members were reminded of the Coffee and Pastries scheduled at Zion for March 31 and the NE Zone Spring Rally being hosted at Zion on April 13. The group also decided to hold a reception following the Confirmation service on April 14.

The next meeting will be on Tuesday, April 9. The meeting was closed with a reading entitled “Do It His Way.”
