Mark and Marcia Knudson, rural Hiawatha, are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Meredith Christine Knudson to Matthew Mark Mueller, son of Mark and Lori Mueller, rural Hiawatha.
Travis and Laura (Sommers) Snyder of Manhattan, Kansas, welcomed a son, Declan Hayes Snyder, on March 17, 2019. He was born at 8:27 a.m., weighing 5 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 19 inches long.
Ben and Amanda Walker and family, Sara, Killian and Rayla, of Hiawatha, welcomed their daughter, Clara Ruth Walker, on Dec. 24, 2018. She was born at 10:08 a.m. weighing 6 pounds and
Kyle and Shelby (Veprovsky) Meenen, of Hiawatha, welcomed a son, Cash Kyler Meenen, on Jan. 4, 2019. He was born at 6:38 a.m. weighing 7 pounds and 3 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches long.
The 35th Welsh Reunion was held on June 23 at the Fairview Comunity Center. There were 21 descendents of Bertha I Welsh and Orion W Welsh in attendance. A basket dinner was enjoyed by all.
