The regular monthly meeting of the Zion Lutheran LWML was at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 11. President Lela Middendorf called the meeting to order with five members present.

Diane Davis read the opening devotions entitled “Letting God Be in Control”. She then led a discussion on Noah’s Ark followed by a fun crossword puzzle. The minutes of the April meeting were read and approved as read. The treasurer’s report was given by Diane. A thank you note from Traci Rahe was read thanking us for our support in her ministry and is looking forward to her future mission trip to India.

Judy Clay shared a devotion entitled, “How Lord Can I Be Your Servant.” Lela reported that representatives from the ladies’ organizations of all of the Partnership congregations have met and discussed ways in which we can help each other serve funeral dinners. She also told us that there are quilts to be tied for Lutheran World Relief, and anyone is welcome to take one home to complete.

The greeters for July are Darlene Atland and Donna Thonen on July 7 and 14 and the Moreno family on July 21 & 28. The chancel workers for July are Barbara Lay, Michelle Moreno, Sharon Lowe and Lela Middendorf.

The next regular meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 9.
