The Brown County Relay For Life committee is gearing up for this year’s event with the promotion of a Relay For Life Quilt and signing up teams.

The 2019 Relay For Life in Brown County will be Saturday, Sept. 28 near the Fisher Community Center in Hiawatha and the Paul Rockey Legion Ballfield, along with the walking trail from 6-10 p.m. that day.

The 2019 Relay For Life Brown County Quilt is now on display at the Morrill Public Library, where residents can purchase a chance to win the quilt.

Other activities to mark on your calendars include the Third Annual Relay for Life of Brown County Vendor Fair — from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Hiawatha Fisher Center.

There will be upcoming raffles to benefit this year’s event — with more information to come.

Registrations are being taken for the vendor fair and teams are still being formed for the Relay For Life event. Contact Laurie Neemann at 785-547-5501 or email their request for a registration or information to lenneemann@hotmail.com.
