Sunday, April 6 >

• Robinson First Sunday Dinner will be held April 6 at the Robinson Community Room from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Chicken and noodles, green beans, salads and desserts will be served for a free will offering.

Monday, April 7 >

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Toddler Storytime at 10:30 a.m. and Knitting Club at 6 p.m.

Tuesday, April 8 >

• Craig Foster from the Kansas Commission on Veteran Affairs will be available 1-3 p.m. in the Homer White American Legion Post, 813 Oregon St., in Hiawatha. As Regional Representative, Foster comes to the area so Veterans, their families or survivors can learn about VA services and benefits and file paperwork, locally. No appointment is necessary.

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Wildlife Adventures, sponsored by the K-State Extension Office, from 3:45-4:30 p.m. for elementary through middle school age students; MPL Family Game Night is back with group board games this week. Join us at 5:30 p.m. in the large meeting room downstairs.

Wednesday, April 9 >

• Coffee With Friends at 9:30 a.m. at Vintage Park, 400 Kansas Ave., Hiawatha.

• Lenten Lunch will be held at noon at First Christian Church at 210 South Sixth Street, wit speaker Father Michael Kantanka of St. Ann’s Catholic Church being the speaker of the event. The Lenten Lunches are a program of the Hiawatha Ministerial Alliance. All are invited to enjoy a soup and sandwich lunch for a free will offering.  This will be the last Lenten Lunch of the year.

• New Beginnings Weight Loss Group meets in the basement of Presbyterian Church at 7th and Kickapoo on Wednesdays at 3:30-4:30 p.m. for weight in, meeting 4:30-5:30 p.m. Come through alley door on south side. For questions, call 785-294-0923.

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Preschool Storytime at 10:30 a.m.; Creative Hour @ the Library at 1:30 p.m. with a second evening session at 5:30 p.m. – email jmay@hiawathalibrary.org or call 785-742-3831 to sign up and Teen Time – crafts and activities for middle school age and older from 3:45-4:45 p.m.
