Cruise Planners was recognized as Hiawatha Chamber & Visitor Bureau’s Member of the Month for April.

Business owner Jen Hoschouer was happy about being selected as April’s HCVB Member of the Month.

“It’s very exciting!’ Hoschouer said. “I wasn’t expecting it!”

Cruise Planners are a full service travel agency that specializes in cruises but also does all other vacations, such as those that take place on land, trains, tours, all-inclusives and bus tours. Regarding the bus tours, there are three that have not been sold out yet.

“We’ve got day trips to the new theater,” Hoschouer said. “The next one available is August 6 and that is for the show ‘Clue.’ And we also have a trip to ‘Bridges of Madison County,’ that one is June 25 to the 26. And a trip to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, that one is July 21 to the 26. If anybody wants to sign up, they can get a hold of me or they can stop by the office. They can call me or email.”

Hoschouer added there was a digital registration or they could fill out a paper form. She also mentioned there is a Facebook group for the bus trips titled “Travel Friends Hiawatha,” where most of the information for the bus trips are included.
