• Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is hosting Praise!, a powerful benefit concert filled with uplifting music and community spirit. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. at 1201 Central. Enjoy inspiring music by the CLJC Youth Choir and the Horton and Friends Community Choir. Admission is free, with a freewill offering to benefit the Heart-of-Horton Fund, supporting local families with essential winter utility needs. • The Annual Homer White Post 66 American Legion Brown County Veterans Dinner will be taking place at 6 p.m. at the Hiawatha National Guard Armory. We welcome all Brown County veterans and their spouse/significant other to come!
• The Morrill Public Library is closed for Veterans Day, however Diverse Voices Book Club to meet at 6 p.m. at McPeak Optometry.

• Craig Foster from the Kansas Commission on Veteran Affairs will be available 1-3 p.m. in the Homer White American Legion Post, 813 Oregon St., in Hiawatha. As Regional Representative, Foster comes to the area so Veterans, their families or survivors can learn about VA services and benefits and file paperwork, locally. No appointment is necessary.
• Morrill Library Happenings: Wildlife Adventures, sponsored by the K-State Extension Office, from 3:45-4:30 p.m. for elementary through middle school age students; Library Family Game Night – BINGO! @ 5:30 p.m. Light fun for all ages! Children under the age of 9 need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 16.
