The Trinity Center, operating at Oregon and 3rd, offers a welcoming space for help, hope and hospitality through accompanying individuals and families who can benefit from material, spiritual and emotional support as well as skills and resources for healthy lives. We envision our space will join various sectors of the community together in offering their gifts in friendship and generosity. The Brown County Genealogical Society was chartered in June 1997 by first president and founder Lyle Hinz. In 1999 we moved into our present building at 116 S 7th Street, Hiawatha with just a small amount of genealogy resources. Over the years we have grown our collection and we now house information from several surrounding communities, family histories that have been donated, funeral pamphlets, death notices from area papers and much more.
