EMPORIA, KS (04/16/2025)-- Jasper Enneking of Sabetha, Kansas, has a role in “The Mistress of the Inn,” an Italian comedy by Carlo Goldoni staged at Emporia State University. Performances are scheduled for April 24, 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m. and April 27 at 2 p.m. in the Karl C. Bruder Theatre, in King Hall.

The Hiawatha High School Red Hawk Forensics Team placed fifth at the Washington County Invitational on Friday, March 28 and also placed seventh at the Riverside Invitational on Saturday, March 29.
The Hiawatha High School Red Hawk Forensics Team placed sixth at the Horton Invitational Thursday.
From March 17 to March 21, the Hiawatha High School Astronomy Club traveled to Houston, TX for their spring break trip. The purpose of the experience was to tour the Johnson Space Center at Houston and view the buildings on the Space Center campus. Ten students and three adults went on the trip, and it was the culmination of a year-long fundraising campaign in order to attend the trip.
The Hiawatha High School Pre-Festival Concert showed off a variety of concert and jazz ensembles on Tuesday evening.
