• The 57th production of the Robinson Lions Clubs Annual Melodrama, “Dogsbreath Devereaux, The Dastardly Doctor or… Nurses! Foiled Again!” will be performed at the Birdcage Theatre in Robinson. The other performance will take place on Saturday, March 8 at 7 p.m. Dinners will be served next door at the Community Center prior to each performance for a free will offering. For table reservations, call Judi Bruning at 785-544-7739 or 785-741-2282. Tables of four are $45, tables of six are $65 and general admission tickets are $8.

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Toddler Storytime at 10:30 a.m.; Knitting Club at 6 p.m.; Diverse Voices Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. in the large meeting room at the library.

Tuesday, March 11 >

• Craig Foster from the Kansas Commission on Veteran Affairs will be available 1-3 p.m. in the Homer White American Legion Post, 813 Oregon St., in Hiawatha. As Regional Representative, Foster comes to the area so Veterans, their families or survivors can learn about VA services and benefits and file paperwork, locally. No appointment is necessary

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Wildlife Adventures, sponsored by the K-State Extension Office, from 3:45-4:30 p.m. for elementary through middle school age students; MPL Family Game Night is back for spring. Join us at 5:30 p.m. in the large meeting room downstairs for BINGO!!

• Coffee With Friends at 9:30 a.m. at Vintage Park, 400 Kansas Ave., Hiawatha.

• Wednesday Morning Book Club at 9:30 a.m. will meet at the Morrill Public Library in the large meeting room.

• New Beginnings Weight Loss Group meets in the basement of Presbyterian Church at 7th and Kickapoo on Wednesdays at 3:30-4:30 p.m. for weight in, meeting 4:30-5:30 p.m. Come through alley door on south side. For questions, call 785-294-0923.
