• First United Methodist Church will host its Second Free-Will Breakfast to benefit the Hiawatha School Supply Fund from 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at 410 Hiawatha Ave. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, fruit, coffee and juice will be served. Dine in or carry out available will be available. All proceeds go directly to the Fund. Future Free-Will Breakfasts are scheduled to be held at the same time (7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.) on the following Sunday mornings on April 13 and May 18.

• Morrill Public Library Happenings: Quilters Club will meet at 2 p.m.; MPL Travel Club is back with the Cruise Planners from 12-1 p.m. in the large meeting room. Learn about Route 66. Public is welcome; There will NOT be After School is Cool due to spring break.

• Coffee With Friends at 9:30 a.m. at Vintage Park, 400 Kansas Ave., Hiawatha.
• Wednesday Morning Book Club at 9:30 a.m. will meet at the Morrill Public Library in the large meeting room.
• New Beginnings Weight Loss Group meets in the basement of Presbyterian Church at 7th and Kickapoo on Wednesdays at 3:30-4:30 p.m. for weight in, meeting 4:30-5:30 p.m. Come through alley door on south side. For questions, call 785-294-0923.

• Vietnam Veteran Day will be celebrated at the American Legion Homer White Post 66 building from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Coffee, cinnamon rolls, hot chocolate and hot apple cider will be served at the event. Vietnam veteran flags will be flown in front of the building. The Homer White Post 66 building is located at 813 Oregon Street.
