• Craig Foster from the Kansas Commission on Veteran Affairs will be available 1-3 p.m. in the Homer White American Legion Post, 813 Oregon St., in Hiawatha. As Regional Representative, Foster comes to the area so Veterans, their families or survivors can learn about VA services and benefits and file paperwork, locally. No appointment is necessary.
• Morrill Public Library Happenings: MPL Travel Club is back with the Cruise Planners from 12-1 p.m. in the large meeting room. This month’s topic is The Ark Encounter. Public is welcome; Quilters Club will meet at 2 p.m.; After School is Cool – crafts and activities for elementary age 3:45-4:45 p.m.; Friends of the Morrill Public Library Annual Meeting at 6:30 p.m., upstairs at the library. Public is invited.
