David Richard Johnson, age 67, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on November 21, 2024 at his home. 
David was born September 8, 1957, in Kansas City, Kansas, the third of four children born to Donnie Raymond and Edith Dorothy (Hobbs) Johnson. 
David and his family resided in Liberty, Missouri until the family moved to Hawaii in 1968 and returned to Liberty, Missouri in 1976.  David worked in construction, auto body work, and for a short time at the General Motors Fairfax Plant. 
He was preceded in death by his parent Don and Edith Johnson, and his brother Duane Robert Johnson. 
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Annalee Johnson Baxter (Roy); and brother Donnie Johnson. 
Burial at the Powhattan Cemetery, Monday, December 23, 2024.
