The Sabetha Golf Course was the setting of this year’s local Class 3A cross country Regional, as teams from across the corner of the state converged to attempt to qualify for next Saturday’s State Meet in Lawrence. The Hiawatha Red Hawks, a traditionally strong postseason team, entered the day as one of the youngest squads in the Region, with very few upperclassmen on either the boys or girls side of the race.
