As a team, the girls finished with 175, with the winning team, Hesston, scoring 104. Wichita’s Trinity Academy took second place, with Southeast of Saline in third, Norton Community in fourth, Scott Community in fifth, and West Franklin in sixth. Behind the Hawks, Southwestern Heights finished eighth, just three points behind Hiawatha, with Jayhawk Linn in ninth, Girard in 10th, Heritage Christian in 11th and Prairie View in 12th.
With a young team in both the boys and girls divisions, Hiawatha and Coach Becky Shamburg should have great things in store against next season.
