New Art Gallery coming soon to Robinson

Robinson will soon be the home of the new Billups Gallery and Art Center. Located at 114 State St., the gallery will house the works of Elizabeth J. (Betty) Billups who resides near Priest River, Idaho. The location just south of the ballpark is owned by Teton Sunrise, LLC and will serve as not only a gallery with Betty’s works on display, but it will also be a hub from which her works can travel to various exhibits in the Midwest. Her work was recently featured at a three-week show at the Yost Gallery at Highland Community College in February. The facility will also feature regular exhibits of aspiring artists in the area, and on occasion, will be an art education facility for art classes. Additionally, the facility will be available for other events in the community. Betty’s originals and lithographic fine art prints will be available for purchase at the new gallery, and a percentage of any sales will be donated to help fund college scholarships for native students.
