Fresh from the Hen House
We cut our Jersey, Pepper, back to once-a-day milking last week. I was on the fence about doing it yet, but I was pretty sure she would handle it just fine, production-wise. I honestly hate changing the cow’s routines. They are so routine-oriented that when I start skipping one of their milkings and see them waiting by the gate, they tend to make me feel guilty.
