The Red Hawk football team will be charging onto the field this upcoming fall season. Despite some of the heavy falls they took last year, the Red Hawk team--coached by Wyatt Jiru--are gearing up to take on the upcoming competition starting this upcoming Friday at home versus Royal Valley.
The Lady Red Hawks return to the volleyball court this year. Although the team will be missing Maddy Simmons--who was last year’s senior player and who was nominated to the Big East All League Honorable Mention--seniors Adison Wiliams, Claire Twombly, Kaeleigh Ruckman and Quinn Boye, junior Kyndall Nelson and sophomore Brynnan Boye will be the six players turning from last year’s varsity roster to help lead the Lady Red Hawks’ volleyball season.
The Red Hawk Cross Country team will be coached again by Becky Shamburg, who has coached the cross country team for more than a decade. Despite losing Dani Morton--who was one of the top runners on the team--the Red Hawks will still have Pauly Rockey who was the state medalist from last year; Rockey placed at nine at the state meet which earned her all-state honors. The girls’ team overall won the regional cross country meet. Fellow top ranked returners for the girls’ team include Bri Guilliams and Ali Krauter.
