In Hiawatha, there is a lot of art around the town, whether they are art murals or musicians coming down to perform at the Hiawatha Creamery or town events. Many people are involved with music in our lives like music on the radio, as some listen to their favorite songs and start singing. Other arts that many students or individuals participate in are art or music classes.
The mission of our group of community volunteers is to benefit the patients, their families and the employees of Amberwell Hiawatha Hospital. The purpose of the Auxiliary is to continue to support and assist in promoting the health and welfare of our community.

The Lady Red Hawks scored a major victory at home over the Rossville Lady Bulldogs on Thursday evening on May 8, with the total score being 9-5.
It was a difficult struggle at home at the Noble Park baseball field for the Hiawatha Red Hawk baseball team as they were defeated by the Rossville Bulldogs on Thursday night on May 8. The Bulldogs beat the Red Hawks at a total score of 23-2.
The Hiawatha Middle School Red Hawks competed at home, with the seventh grade girls scoring first place with 166 points and seventh grade boys earning first place with 160 points. Eighth grade girls earned first place with 153 points and eighth grade boys earned fourth place with 93 points.
Bryan Rockey earned a hole in one on hole number four at the Hiawatha Country Club during the week of Thursday, May 8.
The Hiawatha Cheer Club recently concluded an outstanding season by earning the title of division champions at the U.S. Finals cheerleading competition held in Louisville, Kentucky. The prestigious event brought together top teams from across the nation to compete at the highest level.
