The Hiawatha Braves Post 66 team faced off against the Marysville Post 163 team at home at Noble Park on Wednesday, June 11. Throughout the evening, both teams struggled with several foul balls. Quite a few baseballs also sped out of the ball park and even zipped into the dugout areas, with the announcer saying, “Please and thank you.” Despite this, both Hiawatha and Marysville split with each other score-wise, with Marysville beating Hiawatha in the first game at 7-8 but Hiawatha winning at 8-7, with the combined score being 15-15.
