From March 17 to March 21, the Hiawatha High School Astronomy Club traveled to Houston, TX for their spring break trip. The purpose of the experience was to tour the Johnson Space Center at Houston and view the buildings on the Space Center campus. Ten students and three adults went on the trip, and it was the culmination of a year-long fundraising campaign in order to attend the trip.

The Red Hawk Golf Team is also gearing up for the spring sports season. Coach Gordon Gunderson stated that 13 boys and 10 girls had signed on to play on the team. He was also looking forward to the season overall.
