About the NIETC Informational Meeting

A couple hundred residents of different counties gathered at the Hiawatha Fisher Center on Sunday, August 11, to hear a presentation on the Federal 30x30 Agenda. Angel Cushing of Lyon County was the speaker, assisted by Beth Salmans of Marshall County. The 30x30 program is a plan advanced by radical environmental activists to permanently protect 30% of America’s land and oceans by 2030, and much of it is being done without ever notifying any of the county governments of their plan to remove thousands of private acres from the tax base, destroying the economies of the region. Cushing has been sounding the alarm since 2021 on this government overreach and war on agriculture and nutrition. There are many moving parts to this federal 30x30 agenda, and every federal department is now tasked with its implementation.
