The DWHS girls’ basketball team started their postseason run in dominant fashion, defeating Pleasant Ridge 60-19 at home on Friday, Feb. 28. The Mustangs controlled the game from start to finish, using a relentless defense and scoring.
The Doniphan West junior high basketball teams wrapped up their seasons with strong performances in the OTL Tournament at Onaga on February 6. The Mustangs showcased their talent and determination throughout the tournament, with the boys capturing the OTL Championship and the girls finishing as OTL Runner-Up.
The D-West Mustangs took on Axtell on Tuesday, Jan. 28, and Blue Valley on Friday, Jan. 31, in a pair of home basketball matchups.
