With Fourth of July hitting this Friday, there will be no shortage of events to attend in the local area and plenty of fireworks ready to light up the night sky.
The city commission unanimously voted to allow fireworks to be shot off within Hiawatha city limits. Commissioner Brian Shefferd attended the meeting via Zoom call.
The Robinson Community is preparing for the upcoming Fourth of July festivities with the traditional activities for the whole family.
The Robinson 4th of July Events Committee will be having a fundraising chili supper on Saturday, Jan. 18 to be held in the Robinson Community Center. Serving will start at 5:30 p.m. Chili and cinnamon rolls will be on the menu. It will be a free will offering.
