The Hiawatha Lady Red Hawk volleyball team hit the ground running this fall season at the Big East League Volleyball Triangular event on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Despite some strong plays from everyone involved, the Red Hawks were defeated by the Holton Wild Cats at 25-12 in both sets and the Perry-Lecompton Kaws at 25-21 in the first set and 25-15 in the second set.

The Lady Red Hawks (7-3, 4-2), took to the court Saturday afternoon of Feb. 1. They played in their third and final round game of the Hiawatha High School Girls Invitational Tournament. The Lady Red Hawks were defeated the Troy Lady Trojans (11-1, 6-0). The final score was 44-33.
The Lady Red Hawks (7-3, 4-2), took to the court Thursday night. They played in their second-round game of the Hiawatha High School Girls Invitational Tournament. The Lady Red Hawks defeated the Marysville Bulldogs by a final score of 60-47.
The Lady Red Hawks are playing host at the Hiawatha High School Girls Invitational Tournament. Schools joining Hiawatha are Troy, St Marys, Lafayette, Marysville and Jackson Heights. The Lady Red Hawks got off to a winning start in their opening game against the Jackson Height Lady Cobras. The final score was 51-18.
