The summer season for the Hiawatha Post 66 Braves senior team kicked off where they competed against Doniphan West on Sunday, June 1 in Wathena. Unfortunately, Post 66’s first game of the season was also its first loss, as the team lost the game with a total of 7-19.
Hiawatha Post 66 Senior Legion’s Baseball Team lost Monday night to Seneca’s Legion Post 21. The final score in the first game was 11-10. Each team managed eight hits.
