HAYS, Kan. (January 31, 2025) - Fort Hays State University has named 1,884 students to the Deans’ Honor Roll for the fall 2024 semester.
The Wrestling cooperative that includes Hiawatha, Doniphan West and Troy traveled to Atchison recently. All of the wrestlers competed at a high level and overall, there were eight athletes that placed in the tournament. Six of the wrestlers were from Hiawatha.
The Lady Red Hawks (7-3, 4-2), took to the court Saturday afternoon of Feb. 1. They played in their third and final round game of the Hiawatha High School Girls Invitational Tournament. The Lady Red Hawks were defeated the Troy Lady Trojans (11-1, 6-0). The final score was 44-33.
The Hiawatha Red Hawks (4-8, 1-4) visited Perry-Lecompton on Friday night to face the Kaws. They lost in overtime by a final score of 56-49.
