The Doniphan West Mustangs celebrated Homecoming in style with a hard-fought 12-7 victory over the Maur Hill–Mount Academy Ravens on Friday, October 10, at Schroeder Field. Both teams battled through a physical, defensive contest, but the Mustangs found the end zone twice and held strong in the final minutes to secure the win.

Doniphan West High School celebrated Homecoming Week 2025 with a full slate of spirited activities leading up to Friday night’s football victory. Students and staff participated in a week of themed spirit days, a competitive Powder Puff football game, and a parade through Main Street in Highland, all capped off with the Homecoming dance on Saturday evening.

Highland, Kan. – Dr. Jennifer Schiller, executive vice president at Highland Community College, has been named the recipient of the prestigious Social Justice and Inclusion Award by NASPA IV-West, a regional division of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators.
