The Doniphan West Junior High Mustangs hosted Saints Peter and Paul Schools of Seneca on Thursday, October 2, at Schroeder Field. In one of their most competitive games of the season, the Mustangs came up short in a close 12–20 loss.
The Doniphan West cross country team continued its strong fall campaign with back-to-back meets last week, competing at the Horton Golf Course on October 2 and Centralia Lake on October 4.
It was a championship Saturday for Doniphan West volleyball as both the Varsity and JV teams claimed first-place finishes in their respective tournaments on October 4.
The Doniphan West junior varsity football team traveled to Centralia on Monday, September 29, earning a strong 32-14 victory over the Panthers. The JV Mustangs put together an efficient offensive effort and a steady defensive performance, securing another solid win on the road.

The Doniphan West volleyball program turned in another strong week of competition with big performances across all levels.
The Doniphan West junior high cross country team continued their strong season with impressive showings at Nemaha Central on September 25 and Jefferson County North (JCN) on September 27.
The Doniphan West Junior High volleyball teams were back in action on Thursday, September 25, as they hosted Axtell at Doniphan West Elementary School.
The Homecoming parade starts at 2 p.m. followed by a community pep rally on Main Street. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the DWHS vs. MH-MA football game on Friday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
