
Mustangs Collect Wins in C-Team Quad and Valley Heights Triangular

The Doniphan West Mustangs continued their 2025 football season with a challenging varsity contest on Friday, September 26, at Highland Community College. Facing the Centralia Panthers, the Mustangs struggled to generate offensive momentum and fell by a final score of 0-30. Despite the setback, Doniphan West showed determination on defense, working to slow down a disciplined Centralia attack.
The Doniphan West junior high cross country team continued their strong season with impressive showings at Nemaha Central on September 25 and Jefferson County North (JCN) on September 27.
The Doniphan West Junior High volleyball teams were back in action on Thursday, September 25, as they hosted Axtell at Doniphan West Elementary School.
The Homecoming parade starts at 2 p.m. followed by a community pep rally on Main Street. The Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned during halftime of the DWHS vs. MH-MA football game on Friday, Oct. 10. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.

The Doniphan West Junior High volleyball teams stayed busy last week with a road trip to Valley Heights on Sept. 18, followed by hosting their own tournament in Highland on Saturday, Sept. 20.
The Doniphan West HS junior varsity squad picked up another strong victory on Monday, September 15, at Schroeder Field. The Mustangs topped Pleasant Ridge 40-22, building confidence in their second outing of the season and giving fans plenty to cheer about.
The Doniphan West Junior High Mustangs traveled to Valley Heights on Thursday, September 18, for their third game of the season. The Mustangs fought hard but came up short, falling 12–44.
