Brooke Ross to Speak at Waffles & Worship
Waffles & Worship Women’s Ministry of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ (CLJC) in Horton, welcomes Brooke Vandenbrink Ross of Leavenworth as guest speaker on Saturday, March 1 at 8:30 a.m. The March fellowship will take place at a different location—First Christian Church, 1244 Central, in Horton—due to basement remodeling at CLJC.

It has been a long and quiet week for the members of the Horton Senior Center due to the snow and extreme cold. Being cautious and avoiding any possible accidents we have been staying at home! Our monthly carry in dinner is postponed till Feb. 25 and also all of our activities this week have been put on hold till next week when the weather is supposed to be much warmer. The quote from Proverbs 27:9 states that a sweet friendship refreshes the soul. Missing all our friends this week!

Many of the members of the Horton Senior Center have been staying at home most of this week due to weather conditions and severe cold. Groundhog! Why did you betray us!! Cabin fever is setting in again. We were able to meet on Feb. 11th for our board meeting and coffee group.

Mission Lake Christian Camp at Horton, Kansas will be celebrating 75 years on April 12 at Horton Blue Building 716 1st Ave. in West Horton.
