2025: New Year’s Resolutions

For three years running, Beyond Reason has considered the new year’s resolution. A new year’s resolution is just a goal, a commitment, ranging from the very specific (lose ten pounds/only eat a whole food plant-based diet/save $5,000) to the very abstract (workout more/eat better/save something). A shout out to the No-Hunger Summer volunteers

Huge shout out to the volunteers for the No Hunger Summer program in Hiawatha. These volunteers show up and dedicate several hours a day to make sure children in the community don’t go without! This is a great program that provides healthy meals for children of any age or background, all summer long. The program volunteers also offer positive adult interaction to each of the children, Tenley wants to “get a brown bag” everyday, more for the interaction with the volunteers versus the food! We even have to drive by on the weekends so she can see its closed. We are blessed to have volunteers in our community that are willing to make days a little brighter. Thank you to Marge Stover. who gave Tenley some of the biggest smiles of the summer.
