The old saying that laughter is the best medicine applies with the latest melodrama featured at the Birdcage Theater in Robinson with “Dogsbreath Devereaux, The Dastardly Doctor Or...Nurses! Foiled Again.” The melodrama brought in a large crowd of people during the past weekend and provided a near endless supply of laughter, ludicrous scenarios and characters and of course, a happy ending.

Spring melodrama to be featured at Bird Cage Theater in Robinson
It’s Melodrama time again in Robinson! Cast members are rehearsing for this year’s production which is entitled “Dogsbreath Devereaux, The Dastardly Doctor or... Nurses! Foiled Again!” written by Billy St. John. This is the 57th production of the Robinson Lions Clubs Annual Melodrama, and as always, it will be held in the Birdcage Theatre in Robinson.

Robinson committee holds fundraising chili supper
The Robinson 4th of July Events Committee will be having a fundraising chili supper on Saturday, Jan. 18 to be held in the Robinson Community Center. Serving will start at 5:30 p.m. Chili and cinnamon rolls will be on the menu. It will be a free will offering.
