Hiawatha High School Journalism Senior Student Isabel Burnos placed third at the Kansas Scholastic Press Association (KSPA) State Contest. Burnos submitted her article in the Review Writing category. There were over 1,300 entries among 80 different schools and 26 different categories.
For Class of 2025 seniors, graduation is nearing and high school is coming to an end. Many individuals have a post-secondary plan, but some aren’t sure yet. Whichever person you are, there is a world of options and opportunities beyond high school. There are many ways to spend your summer as you can spend it preparing for college or prioritizing your happiness by making memories and living in the moment.

When Covid-19 hit, the whole world changed. People couldn’t go outside without a mask and were told to just stay inside.
